CAMPING

If I have purchased camping tickets can I leave the festival site and return?  Yes you can and if your circumstances have changed and you have booked a hotel you are welcome to leave each evening and return during the day.

Can I camp in any official campsite? At Weston Park you can, at Hylands Park if you have booked red campsite then that is where you will camp and in yellow campsite if that is where you have booked.  It is not possible to switch campsites, as one is not operated by V Festival.

Not unless you have become a registered disabled person.

What size camping pitches are at V?  There is no specific size unless you are in a campervan.

What size tent can I bring? Any size are fine, but if you are bringing a very large tent please ensure there are a good number of people staying in it to allow enough room for all tents.

Are gazebos allowed in the campsites?  We’re sorry but no they are not permitted.

Can I rent a tent from V? No. if you have booked a camping pitch then you need to bring your own camping gear.

Can I take a BBQ?  You can take the small portable BBQ trays into red campsite at Hylands Park but not yellow campsite.  Yellow campsite is owned and operated by and independent campsite organiser whose rules vary from our own.  You can take small portable BBQ trays into the campsites at Weston Park.

Can I bring a camping stove to V?  Yes but only the small gas camping stoves, strictly no petrol fuelled cookers.  We strongly advise you to just bring the small portable BBQ’s though. This is applicable to Weston Park campsites and both red and yellow campsites at Hylands Park.

CAMPERVANS

Can I upgrade to a campervan pitch? If there are campervan pitches available to purchase then yes, you can call See Tickets on 0844 888 9991, you must already have weekend camping tickets to qualify for a campervan pitch and bring your own campervan.

What type of vehicle can I take into the campervan site? You can bring a campervan, caravan or a trailer tent only.

What size are the campervan pitches? Each pitch is approx 6m x 6m, if you think your vehicle will exceed this then you will need to purchase more pitches.

What type of tickets do I need to be able to buy a campervan pitch? You will need a weekend camping ticket for each of the people staying in the campervan pitch.  We permit a maximum of 4 persons per vehicle and no tents are permitted within the pitch.

Can I bring a generator to fit to my campervan? Generators are only permitted in the campervan area. Any generator must comply with the following safety measures; the generator must be suitably earthed.  The generator must be positioned such that any exhaust fumes disperse readily and do not impinge on any sleeping area.  The generator must be positioned away from any combustible materials.  Any spare fuel must be kept in suitable containers, readily identifiable as such, and secured away from any ignition sources.  The generator must be switched off and allowed to cool down prior to refuelling.  Ensure there are no naked flames or other ignition sources in the area whilst refuelling.  The Fire Service in conjunction with our own Health and Safety Managers will be making regular checks of the areas to ensure compliance.  Those not complying risk being ejected from the festival site.

I think I may have booked tickets from a scam website, can V help? We can only advise you to contact your credit card company and ask for their help in trying to get your money back.  We advise you to only book via the official outlets detailed on www.vfestival.com tickets section.  You can also report anybody you suspect of internet fraud to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.

When will my tickets be delivered?
They will not be delivered until a couple of weeks before V Festival. If you have any concerns regarding delivery you need to contact your ticket agent.

I have lost my ticket/wristband, what can I do? Unfortunately tickets and wristbands cannot be replaced under any circumstances.
